Jim and I have lived in Shaker Heights since 1998 and our 3 kids grew up here. Now it’s just the two of us and our two puppies, Kasia and Katie, who are adorable English Labradors. Jim taught 3rd Grade in the Shaker City School District for 22 years and is now pursuing his passion of writing scripts for feature films and television series. We both love walking the dogs, playing ice hockey, snow skiing, water skiing, renovating our old house, and keeping our garden blooming. Emmett lives in New York City, Riley in Sedona, and Allie in Chicago. We are big believers in volunteering and supporting local nonprofit organizations; some of our favorites are Big Hearted Blooms, Kids Book Bank, Fostering Hope, Jordan CRC, The Nature Center at Shaker Lakes, and FunHockeyCLE.
With 22 years of executive experience from Volunteer to Vice President in the nonprofit and profit sectors as well as a venture-backed start-up, I pivoted to real estate in 2016 while continuing a theme of serving families and communities. My strategic approach, love of data and analytics, negotiating skills, marketing and sales management, community engagement leadership, and ability to connect with people from diverse backgrounds have helped me succeed in helping people make smart investments in real estate, for their family and their financial future. Communities with strong real estate markets thrive in many other ways for shared benefit - and contributing to that is a rewarding way to make a difference.
